Herbal cures for Sleep deprived Eyes
I often find creams and serums I buy in the drug store to be foul smelling, cause breakouts or my eczema to flare up or to simply not work. Natural, herbal and plant based solutions seem to work best for my testy skin.
Mix the powder with the oil to form a very thick paste. Apply under you lower lids and spread out to your temples. Leave on for half an hour and then wash with warm water. Don't use soap or you'll wash away too much of the olive oil's benefits.
Calendula oil can do wonders for you oh fellow tired mamas. A natural topical anti-inflammatory agent-for-good will help your eye area skin be less red, itchy and swollen. Using Calendula to massage very gently into your skin with your ring finger will soften and smooth your skin.
If you are suffering from puffy eyes due to allergies (F%ck you pollen) then Calendula is great for healing overly rubbed skin.
Use equal parts Calendula oil with rose water and aloe. Spread under your eyes and lay a warm, slightly damp strip of flannel over your eyes. Listen to soft music for half an hour or as you go to sleep and then spray your whole face with rose water. You will feel a million times better and the delicate skin around your eyes will look great.
