Make dog happy with not mad at his new baby
My first born is my dog. He's been with me through all sorts and is the sweetest guard dog you could ask for in life. After my son was born ty dog had to take a back seat. I always try to spend special mommy and fur baby time with my dog. Special focus helps balance out any jealousy and makes him happy.
Your fur baby needs lots of care and love even when you are bogged down with baby and toddler duty. My dog is very sensitive and it is a struggle to pay enough attention to my fat dog while working, being a mommy and occasionally bathing. I try to let my son play in front of me while I cuddle the dog; one worry I've run into with that plan is that my son gets jealous if I'm holding the dog so I've found I have to put baby in the play pen to get a little dog time.
Find the right activity to do with your little that will give you enough time to cuddle the fur baby. When your little gummybear is tiny you can let them do tummy time while you pet the dog, a little older and you can talk with your little about their playtime while you pay attention to their doggie brother.
What does your fur baby love to do with you? Are they a lap dog, a walking dog or a dog park fur baby? Try incorporating park time with your little and dog time.
My son loves to play with trains and the dog is happy to watch while being petted. So it is a great combo of fun time for both my babies.
Natural Dog Tummy Solutions
Doggie tummy solutions
When your furbaby eats something they shouldn't, cat poop and socks don't count as a fiber serving, feed them 1/4 cup peroxide to induce vomiting or if it is just too much of something that will not kill them you can try natural relief for their tummy aches.
Doggie massage for tummy troubles includes lots of hands-on work but can be very beneficial to your pet. Lay their bottom on a pillow so that their head (and cute little ears) is slightly downward, lean them onto their sides and rub the belly in slow circular motions towards their rear. Rub down to thighs, pulling very slightly from tummy to leg joint and down leg. Repeat and add in a few of fluffer's favorite spots for pleasure.
Your furbaby's paws can give them stomach ache relief. Their left hand in the lower middle paw can be gently massaged for a dog reflexology release for his little tummy pains. Gently use your thumb and index and middle finger to rub downward towards his paw, then press lightly on the left paw on the outer side right under his last toe joint in the squishy part of his paw pad.
Remember to have a number and GPS address for a near by pet ER wherever you're headed to this year. Have clean water out for the pawed posy and make sure they get enough tummy rubs this holiday.
