In the Mommyhood: The 3rd Trimester
For me feeling his little movements become downright huge and painfully gymnastic was amazing. By the time I hit week 30 it had been a very hot summer and I was worn out. Between writing, working a weekend 2nd job and getting my space ready for baby it was a long couple of months.
Take your time with the third trimester, I know it gets so uncomfortable but take the time to ready yourself, to enjoy the last few weeks and eat all the snacks in the house without apology.
Movements to get ready: I started stretching and bending to get ready for labor. I used my hard foam roller as a calf rest and stretched out my hamstrings and lower back. I did a lot of butterfly stretches to help make my hip and pelvis more flexible as well.
Pack your hospital bag: If you lovely readers want I can make a vlog on packing for the hospital. My first tip is don't pack too much. I lived an hour away from my hospital and even with that I didn't need to pack as much as I brought.
White diet: Not only did I get GD but because of the heartburn and reflux suffering I went through I could only eat a few foods without crying in pain or my blood sugars hitting the moon. If you find yourself in the same sad, sad, food-less boat try eating cucumbers, lettuce, extra-firm tofu, eggs, chicken and vegenaise.
