Ginger for Stomach Problems
Use Ginger to help naturally lessen symptoms for:
Upset children's tummy
Stress induced stomach pain
Nausea from Flu or hormone imbalance
1-1/2 teaspoons each of chamomile flowers, peppermint and licorice root
1 teaspoon of fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon of fennel seeds
1½ cups boiling water
Peel ginger using vegetable peeler then mix the herbal combination together in a glass or teapot with a strainer. Pour your just boiling water over the ginger and herbs. Allow the mixture to steep for a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes. After desired strength is achieved strain out herbs and ginger.
Candied ginger without High-fructose Corn syrup: Great for a little one's upset tummy problems. Also helpful for on-the-go ginger needs.
Ginger in capsules: Easy to know what dosages you are taking and easy to carry with you and get down if you aren't a fan of the intense ginger flavor.
Liquid, natural tinctures: Good for mixing with juices or smoothies for regular consumption of ginger for chronic issues such as Acid Reflex or Heartburn as we age.
Ginger Ale made with honey: Look for real ginger, not just ginger natural flavors witch will do you no good. Very good for Nausea from Flu or hormone imbalance.
Ginger Tea: Mix with agave or honey and add in a little peppermint tea for extra help with stomach aches and issues such as IBS.
