Are We There Yet?
If you are going to take a road trip this summer be prepared, it's going to be a zoo of people at some spots. The better you prep with supplies the happier everybody will be.
Tote Bag for dirty clothes and washroom runs
Washcloth- you won't always be able to shower. If you're boon-docking or are even just run out of the park's showers by crowds.
After Landing and getting to the RV it was discovered that a huge Ham Radio convention meant all hotels for 50 miles (trust me, it was wasn't just a 45 mile ratios) were booked and so it was in the bosom of Walmart I laid my weary head down. The parking lot taught me the importance of leveling. Nobody wants to be rolling all over, falling on top of innocent travel writers.
There are those types of road wanders who prefer the excitement of not knowing where they are sleeping next, however this time of year consider having a backup plan or two if you aren't booking or mapping spots ahead of time.
Small Broom for all the sand, dust and that-looked-great leaves
Planning a little bit before you leave will save you a lot of time, which can be better spent enjoying the trip.
